Panorama Tours is Hungrya's largest incoming agency dedicated to first class service. These services include: hotel arrangements for individuals and groups, concert and theatre tickets, as well as those sought after festival tickets, car rental services and incentive programs. We specialize in creating unique programs, designed to fit the individual needs of our clients.
The program takes place on Margitsziget (Margaret Island), and the main task of the groups is to find their way in groups, to get to the stations formed all around the island. Guests get a map of the island at the start, on which they can see where the stations are to be found (these are usually famous points of the island, e.g. the cloister, or the little zoo). They also receive a sheet of paper, where they find the list of tasks to be fulfilled. Their aim is to find all the stations in the shortest time possible, and succeed with all the tasks listed. Guards of the stations help the groups with fulfilling the tasks, and to find the way to the next station. After finishing the first three groups get some rewards.
Taste the good things in Budapest’s pantry with a cooking course in the 100-year-old Big Market” During the event – under the direction of our chef – guests learn how to prepare a Hungarian main course and a garnish to go with it. Prepared basic ingredients and equipment are set out on the tables for the group. After tasting the cold dishes, the cooking course starts. The first step is the preparation of basic ingredients. Under the guidance of the chef guests learn the right way to prepare the basic materials. This is done in small groups on the spot in an entertaining way. The chef assists every step of the work done by each group. Until the dishes are cooked and baked, the guests make a shopping tour of around 30 minutes in the Market Hall. During this time the dishes are finished by the restaurant, and at the end there is buffet lunch. The programme is extended by the following: guests receive recipes of typical Hungarian dishes, like the “Goulash” soup, the names of ingredients written in Hungarian, and some money to buy all necessary things in the Market Hall.
In the historic Ászár-Neszmély wine region 75 kilometers northwest from Budapest, halfway to Vienna amid spectacular vistas covered by ancient and newly planted vineyards overlooking the river Danube. Since the Romans 2000 years ago this part of Hungary has been a grape growing and wine producing area. Starting in the 19th century export destinations stretched from Japan to Mexico, with the main markets being England - now the largest exporter of Hungarian bottled wine to Great Britain - Austria and Germany. The temperate climate with 2500 hours of sunshine annually, the warm loess soil, the configuration of the terrain all favour the quality of the grapes produced here. Head winemaker Ákos Kamocsay has been chosen "Winemaker of the year" 1999 in Hungary and "Winemaker of the year" 1997 in London (Grapevine), Dozens of silver and bronze medals and the title of "White Wine of the Year 1998" at the International Wine Challenge, London, Gold, silver or bronze medals in Belgium (Condours Mondial Bruxelles), France (Chardonnay Du Monde 1998, 1999, 2002, 2005), Italy (Vinitaly 2001) and Hungary
This programme takes place in a Csárda, that is located 80 kms from Budapest. Transportation can either be by bus or by the Nostalgy Train explained in the “Hungarian Countryside” programme. It can be mixed with other programmes of the Csárda (e.g. a quad rally, or the cooking course, fireworks, etc.) The guests are taken to Alsónémedi (a small village 50 kms from the Csárda) by bus, the programme starts with introducing the tasks to the participants, and guests get the cars, that are Trabants (the popular small car-type of the Socialist era). Guests depart after each other by the cars on the given route, one after the other every 20-30 seconds. The guests reach the destination, that is the Csárda in ca. 40-90 minutes. The guests are offered hot crackling scones and pálinka (famous Hungarian brandy) upon arrival. The completion of the task is assessed in the end. The rest of the event can be spent like in the programme “Hungarian Countryside”.
